Dear Nokomis Parents,
We are excited to invite you to be a part of our English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) for the 2025-26 school year!
California requires schools with 21 or more English learners to have an ELAC, and we’d love for you to join us. The committee is a great way for parents like you to share ideas and give feedback directly to the principal about the programs that support our English learner students. Your voice is essential in helping us make sure every child succeeds.
We'll hold our first meeting on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 8:00 AM in the Nokomis office. During this meeting, we will elect new members and discuss our existing programs to help our English learner students thrive.
